Math Tutoring

Our last tutoring date for this school year will be May 22nd, 2025.

Welcome to Mission: Math! This free tutoring program is open to all K–12 students. Due to high demand, each student will select a one-hour time slot and will be served on a first-come, first-served basis. We encourage students to bring their math homework, but it’s not required.

Time: 4 pm – 7 pm

Date: Every Thursday during the school year

Location: 200 S Duval St

Free Online Tutoring

Leon County Government now provides Brainfuse HelpNow, a new virtual tutoring service offered through the LeRoy Collins Leon County Public Library System. Available to all library card holders, Brainfuse HelpNow provides free, real-time academic assistance and personalized eLearning tools for students and lifelong learners of all ages.

Brainfuse HelpNow offers live tutoring in subjects including math, science, English, social studies, and test preparation for PSAT/SAT, ACT, AP, and state standardized tests. Tutors are available online Monday through Sunday from 2 to 11 p.m. Users can access the service from any internet-connected device, including computers, tablets, and smartphones.

In addition to live tutoring, Brainfuse HelpNow provides a 24/7 Writing Lab, skills-building exercises, and an Adult Learning Center that offers job seekers resources such as resume and cover letter assistance, as well as GED and citizenship test preparation.

To begin using Brainfuse HelpNow, library card holders can log in with their library card number, select their subject, and connect with a live tutor. 

Leon County residents can sign up for a library card at no cost by applying online or visiting any Leon County Public Library location
