Food, Feast and Fun: Thanksgiving is a celebration of thanks, a day to remember the people and things we are most thankful for…it is also a day of fun and FOOD! We will explore the sciences behind food: physical, microbial and chemical, as well as the biology of taste. Feed yourself, or your family, with some yummy science experiments as you explore the properties and fermentation of yeast by making your own bread dough and the chemistry of microwave popcorn.
