Dates & Descriptions (Programs Recommended for Ages 9 TO 99)
Saturday, September 30, 2017: 10 AM – 12 PM Expedition Mars
Set some time in the future in which humans have colonized the Martian Moon, Phobos, participants take a scientific expedition from the base on Phobos down to the surface of Mars.
Tuesday, October 31, 2017: 6 PM – 8 PM Skull Asteroid Encounter
Participants are sent on a mission to retrieve a sample from a Near-Earth Object known as the skull asteroid. Recommended for adults only due to scary and suspenseful scenarios.
Saturday, December 30, 2017: 10 AM – 12 PM Lunar Quest
Set in the near future, participants are sent on a mission to the moon where NASA currently has a lunar colony. Teams will perform investigations and analysis to learn what factors are necessary to make a lunar colony sustainable.
Saturday, February 10, 2017 4 PM – 6 PM Expedition Mars
Celebrate with your valentine by taking a trip to the red planet! Participants take a scientific expedition from the base on the Martian Moon, Phobos, down to the surface of Mars.
Saturday, March 31, 2018 10 AM – 12 PM Earth Odyssey
Participants will embark on a mission to the International Space Station, the world’s leading research lab located in orbit 250 miles above the Earth. The crew must work together to launch a new satellite into orbit to replace one that was damaged.
The cost is $10 per person per program for registrations received before 12:00 p.m. the day before the program. The cost is $15 per person per program for registrations received after 12:00 p.m. the day before the program.
The registration form must be completed and submitted before 12:00 p.m. the day before the program to receive the discount ($10). Registration is complete and confirmed on receipt of completed registration form and full payment. Programs are limited in size; therefore, registrations will be processed on a first come, first serve basis. Registration after 12:00 p.m. the day before the program or at the door is also accepted, if space permits, and costs $15 per person per program.
No refunds will be offered for Public Mission programs. For cancellations received at least 48 hours prior to any program, your registration fee may be applied to future Public Mission programs.
All parents and authorized individuals must present photo identification when picking up your child(ren) and be listed as an authorized individual on the registration form.
