Free "Sky Guy" Planetarium Show

Come down to the Downtown Digital Dome Theatre and Planetarium and enjoy a free planetarium show on the first Saturday of each month at 10:00am. This planetarium show is presented by the Tallahassee Astronomical Society and coordinated with the monthly Democrat "Sky Guy" column. The Monthly sky over Tallahassee will be reviewed including prominent constellations, stars and planets. Stay for the 11am show and receive 1/2 off your admission.   • Saturday Public Mission

Think you have what it takes to be an astronaut?  Have you always wanted to go to the Moon, Mars or beyond?  You can experience the next best thing to space travel at the Challenger Learning Center Space Mission Simulator.  On the second Saturday of each month from 10am-12pm you will have the opportunity to be a part of a NASA mission.

  • Kid's Day at the CLC

The third Saturday of every month at 10:30 am, catch a Chemistry Magic Show presented by members of Alpha Chi Sigma, FSU's professional chemistry fraternity.  

After the show children 12 and younger, accompanied by an adult, receive free admission to an 11 am show.

Sign up to recieve email notifications on Kid's Day film announcements, movie release dates and other special events.

The Challenger Learning Center and the Tallahassee Astronomical Society offer Scout Astronomy and Science Programs on the second and fourth Saturday of the month (during the school year). Each programs fulfills all requirements for a badge or belt loop. All Boy Scout programs are $20 per Scout, all other programs are $15 per Scout. Click here for more information.
