Our educational mission, which began with the Challenger 51-L “Teacher inSpace” mission, can continue with your help.

In honor of the 25th Anniversary of the Challenger “Teacher in Space” Mission on January 28, 2011, the Challenger Learning Center is encouraging businesses and individuals to invest in the children of our community. As part of the Challenger Center for Space Science Education network established by the family and friends of the Challenger 51-L crew to continue the mission of education, Challenger Learning Center of Tallahassee programs aim to inspire the next generation to pursue careers in the critical fields of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).

Commemorate the 25th Anniversary of the Challenger mission & empower the leaders of tomorrow with critical STEM skills!

For as little as $500, you can send a class to participate in Challenger Learning Center educational programs, which include Space Mission Simulations, IMAX® movies and Digital Dome planetarium shows. However, we will also accept any donation amount toward our education programs. Donations are tax-deductible and you’ll help shape the future of our community and country.
